The Beltsville Academy constructed in the 1960’s is going through a window replacement program and an upgrade to the mechanical systems including the addition of a chiller and modifications to the boilers. Leuterio Thomas was contracted to design the structural design of the window installation details prepared by the architects and verify if any new structural steel is required to support the new windows. In addition to the window portion of the project, LT was also tasked to verify all the areas where new mechanical or electrical equipment was to be located.
