The project consisted of two precast concrete housing units, each comprising four 64-cell wings attached to a two-story central support core, for a total of 512 cells per unit. The scope also included a vehicle sally port tower, armory buildings, additional guard towers, perimeter fence support structures, substations, and associated site infrastructure.
The structural design utilized precast concrete construction to deliver a durable and efficient solution across the facility’s housing units and support structures. By leading structural engineering efforts from early schematics through construction administration, Leuterio Thomas provided consistent technical oversight across all components of the project, ensuring the integrity of both the housing units and the broader site infrastructure.
